Holidays /second part/
After the Cantal I went to Amsterdam -lucky girl that I am :)
It was really cool, peaceful ande relaxing. I like that it is just five hours and a half from Paris by car (which makes Amsterdam closer that a lots of french cities).
I stayed there a week and could appreciate the whle masterpiece, we went to some classic museum (Rijksmuseum) then to the Van gogh museum -they say: vent rorr-.
The Van gogh museum is worth the line, you can see most of his artwork and the shop definitely has some good mugs and magnets -who would not enjoy a tea in the sunflowers paint?
We also did the modern museum, the Stedelijk, wich is very funny and various - it was one of my favorite ;)
Tips: to avoid the lines behinf museums you can come at the end of t(he day and buy your tickets for the day after -you have a week to use them when you want- and you only do the cut-line queue, wich is unexistant.
We walk a lot in the city and also went for a trip in the isles
